Which MBBS entrance exams should be taken apart from AIPMT ?

Apart from AIPMT which is a national level exam, you should take the following exams to maximize your chances of getting selected in MBBS:

- MH-CET:
Maharashtra has the maximum number of MBBS seats. If you are comfortable with Maharashtra politics, you should definitely apply in this.

- MP-PMT:
MP is a fast developing state. You can complete your MBBS and settle in MP itself.

- GUJCET:
Gujarat also has a good number of MBBS seats. Gujarat is a developed state. However, Gujarat Government will also consider your 12th marks before offering a seat. So, apply only if you are scoring/ expecting to score above 70 % in your 12th board.

- UP - CPMT.

- AIIMS:
It is the best MBBS college of India for MBBS. However, there are only 50 seats and the competition is very intense. I would subscribe this only to very intelligent students.

- AFMC:
This is an army medical college. It is one of the best medical colleges after AIIMS. Paper is very easy. Competition is also very less. However, you have to compulsorily serve as an army Doctor for 7 years after which you can do your own practice.
Good option for those who are afraid of strong competition.

- COMEDK:
It is an association of self-financed MBBS & BDS colleges of karnataka. Paper is very easy. Competition is also less. Minimum fees of self-financed MBBS colleges is 15 lakhs. Apply accordingly.
I would recommend this as a good option for the rich.
